Exhale — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you use Exhale, we may collect information you provide when booking a session (such as your selected specialty and session type), the content of your conversations with Rae, payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your full card details), and technical information such as IP address and browser type for security purposes.

If you choose the anonymous booking option, we do not require your name, employer, or work email, and we do not attempt to identify you through other means.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate your companion session, process payments, improve the quality of Rae's responses (in anonymized or aggregated form), and maintain safety, including detecting and responding to crisis situations.

3. Conversation Data

Your conversations with Rae are stored to allow continuity within a session and to allow our team to review sessions for safety and quality purposes. We do not sell your conversation data to third parties, and we do not use your conversations for advertising purposes.

4. Who Can See Your Conversations

Conversations may be reviewed by the operator(s) of Exhale for quality assurance, safety monitoring, and to enable the live human takeover feature. We limit access to those directly involved in operating the Platform.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with payment processors (Stripe) to process transactions, AI service providers (such as Anthropic) to generate Rae's responses, and law enforcement or emergency services only when required by law or necessary to prevent harm to you or others.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure payment processing and encrypted connections. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain conversation data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, ensure safety, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@exhalecompanion.com, subject to any legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@exhalecompanion.com.

9. Children's Privacy

Exhale is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Exhale after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
